Student counseling forms an important feature of the IIS University. The University conducts counseling for students who aspire to join the IIS University as well as those who are already a part of the IIS University family. Counseling is offered for three purposes: 
  •     Guide the students at the time of admission, in the choice of programmes of study, and subjects thereof,
  •      Reduce the feelings of depersonalization and 
  •      Career- counseling. 
Career Seminars 
 
The Placement Cell organizes various career seminars for the students, which guides them to choose their professional career and courses. Experts from various industries are invited for career talks on their specific area of expertise.
 
Study Abroad Seminar 
 
For the purpose of awareness amongst the students about the foreign universities, the placement cell invites resource persons who guide the students on admission pattern, courses available, eligibility, work experience required and education opportunities in the US Universities.
 
Vocational Counseling
 
The students are provided career guidance support from the Placement Cell. Students’ queries related to advanced career options and various other job oriented queries are resolved here.
