Sports

The Department provides numerous facilities for a variety of sports like - Shooting, Swimming, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Handball, Table-Tennis, Tennis and Athletics. The Department of Physical Education, here at I.C.G also plays a major role in physical, mental and social development of students and also provides opportunities to them to prove their caliber in various categories in the field of sports such as - international, national, inter-university, inter-collegiate and the state Level.
Many Inter-house competitions have been held in the college where zealous students from four different houses have been competing whole-heartedly from the year 1995 up till 2010. From 2011, students have also started competing in inter-class competitions and showing their prowess.
ICG, being the only girls’ college has also been hosting the University of Rajasthan, Inter-collegiate swimming championship from the last seven years for both men and women.
Another feather in ICG's cap has been added by our very own Surbhi Mishra, who has represented India in various international Squash tournaments. She also competed at the Commonwealth games at New Delhi in 2010. She was also appointed as the Campus- sports-ambassador in the students’ council for the year 2009-10.
The ICG Health Club added a gymnasium facility for its students so as to provide a perfect blend of physical development along with mental and spiritual growth. The International College for Girls offers a well equipped, fully air conditioned, fitness centre, with a state of the art gymnasium facility for its students and faculty. It runs versatile fitness training programmes like cardio strength and weight training and has a variety of equipment like treadmills, cross trainers, recumbent and upright bikes, twisters, multi gym four station, aerobic steppers, swiss balls etc. to name of few. The services of a certified trainer are available for guidance.

Inter College Sports Meet (2012)

The IIS university proved its mettle yet again by winning table tennis, volleyball, discuss throw at Ist and IInd position in Inter College Sports meet, organized by Jaipuria Institute of Management from 25 -26th August.

Annual Inter Collegiate sports festival

The IIS university proved its mettle yet again by winning the basketball, volleyball, athletic, and the overall General Championship trophies in VARCHAS - 2012, the annual Inter Collegiate sports festival organized by IIT Rajasthan in Jodhpur from 9-12 Feb ,2012.

On 26th January, a friendly match was played between U.S Rugby team and IIS university players.
