The IIS University, Jaipur is a cosmopolitan and vibrant Deemed-to-be-a-University and is among the thirty eight deemed universities in India placed under Category ‘1’ by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is known for excellence in imparting meaningful education to students and to encourage them to think innovatively. It particularly focuses on empowering its students to face life’s challenges with confidence and also provide creative leadership in the times to come.

The University is pleased to announce its Fourth All India IISU English Debate proposed to be held on Thursday, 23 February 2017 from 10.00 am onwards at ISIM (popularly know as IIIM) Campus, Mansarovar, Jaipur. The topic for the debate is ‘In the Opinion of the House, Women make for better leaders than men’. We view this competition as an opportunity to provide a nationwide platform to young students to further hone their oratorical skills and be part of a strong debating community. Students from across the country are being invited to participate and we hope that you too will help us make this event a success with your participation. We request you to circulate the attached details for the information of your students and register at your earliest. Institutions are expected to register only one team comprising two speakers – one For and one Against the Motion. The participating team may be accompanied by a faculty member from your institution.
