Report on discussion sessions for Faculty of Science held during 10-14 August 2015 by the IP Management Cell of the IIS University

To promote awareness about patents, IPMC organized discussion sessions for Faculty of Science with Mr. Pankaj Kumar, IP Attorney, on ‘How your research or other expression of ideas can be legally protected?’ The session focused on Introduction to IPR, Patentable subject matter, prior art search & search databases, Patent specification, Procedure for Patenting, Government initiatives including funding agencies and IP awards. The faculty members were also acquainted with the initiatives and working of IPMC.

The faculty members attended the sessions according to the schedule dates in Genpact Room during 3.15 - 4.15 pm.
