About Programme
The Department of Management Studies (A) at IIS (Deemed-to-be University) was established in 2002 with the vision of creating a meaningful impact through quality education, training, research, and innovation. The department aims to equip students with the skills and competencies required to excel in diverse sectors such as Banking, Finance, Education, Healthcare, Event Management, Human Resources, and Retail.
The department offers undergraduate programmes including Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Digital Marketing. At the postgraduate level, it provides a co-educational, trimester-based MBA programme with dual specialization. In addition, the department offers doctoral-level research programmes leading to a Ph.D.
The department provides a well-structured academic environment. The faculty members have diverse research interests in areas such as Marketing, Corporate Governance, International Business, Retail Management, Strategy and General Management, Computer and IT Systems, Finance, Human Resource Management, Accounting, Quantitative Techniques, and Research Methodology.
In its pursuit of academic excellence, the department regularly organizes study tours and industrial visits, hosts national and international conferences, and conducts expert lectures by professionals from various domains of management.
