The University has a large number of collaborations for research and extension activities. Such linkages not only provide value addition to the academic programmes of the University but also help in training both the staff and the students in developing research orientation and provide value addition to the academic programmes of the University.

 

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIONS

  • Kent State University, Ohio, USA.

   

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) has recently been signed between the IIS University and the Kent State University, Ohio, USA, to develop academic and cultural interchange by mutual assistance in the areas of education and research, through faculty/ student-exchange and collaborative programmes.

  • Intellectual Property Summer Institute, University of Hamshipre, USA

The IIS University has collaborated with the University of Hampshire, Franklin Pierce Law Center Concord, USA, for research and academic exchange

  • Phillipps Universitat, Marbung, Germany

The IIS University has recently collaborated with Philipps-Universität Marburg which has been a place of research and teaching for nearly five centuries. This collaboration will involve cooperation in interdisciplinary and international research by the two universities.

 NATIONAL COLLABORATIONS
 

  • Centre for Sheep and Wool Research, Avikanagar

     The Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute is a premier institute of Indian Council of Agricultural Research engaged in research,education and extension activities on sheep and rabbits.  

 

  • Defense Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Ministry of Defense, Govt of India,  Gwalior

The Organisation works under the Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence. It works towards enhancing self-reliance in Defence Systems and undertakes design & development leading to production of world class weapon systems and equipment in accordance with the expressed needs and the qualitative requirements.
A project undertaken to isolate arsenile oxidizing bacteria which can connect  the most toxic arcenite to arsenate and thus can be developed as a bioremediation instead of arsenic which is otherwise a toxic material and can be very harmful for the environment.

COLLABORATION WITH THE CENTRAL/ STATE GOVERNMENT
 

  • Post Graduation Education and Research Centre for Livestock Heath & Production, Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Jaipur

 

  • Kumarappa National Handmade Paper Institute, Sanganer , Jaipur

The research and development activities of the Institute mainly emphasize on exploring various alternative raw materials available abundantly in various regions of the country.

The Institute conducts detailed study on utilization of alternative raw materials on laboratory scale and studies its techno-economic feasibility on pilot plant scale
