ICG-IISU Alumnae association-Bandhan arranged for a webinar with one of the distinguished alumnae Ms. Kshipra Bhandari Narain who is presently a Leadership Consultant in Harvard Business Publishing (South Asia), Gurgaon, Haryana . She previously worked in GE Wipro and also served as Senior Editor in Journalism sector. In the webinar, she talked about how the things that were taught to her in ICG helped her in various fronts of her life. She also highlighted the importance of extra-curricular activities at ICG. Ms. Kshipra briefed the students regarding how to follow your passion with full dedication to have the required results. She also said that following your passion requires hard work, focus and plan and also the required skills, education and training. The alumna also opined that it’s important to have Plan B always in your life because in worst situation if the Plan A doesn’t work , then you have an option ready to explore. Adding further, she also told the students to follow discipline and time management which are very important in life to succeed in any field. In the end, Ms. Kshipra emphasized that one should be accountable and responsible for the deeds done by him/her and in case mistakes happen , we should look for ways to mend them . She also stressed on the importance of ethics and values in one’s life and motivated the students to make the best use of the platform that is being provided to them.
