Two Days National Conference on ‘Corporate Governance: New Paradigms' 4-5 March 2016

It is our immense pleasure to inform you that The Department of Management Studies and Financial Studies is organizing a National Conference on ‘Corporate Governance: New Paradigms' which is being held at The IIS University, Jaipur, on 4-5 March, 2016.

The Conference aims to facilitate dissemination of state of the art research on corporate governance in India with the objective of supporting policy and practice development. The proposed conference would address the following issues:

• Coprporate Governance Practices in India
• Regulatory Issues and Legal Perspectives
• Sustainable Development  and Corporate Social Responsibility
• Environmental Conservation
• Corporate Governance in Finance and
• Contemporary Issues in Corporate Governance

The conference would provide the renewed focus on governance and boards, which may prevent another financial or corporate catastrophe because nothing can be greater than a business.To this end the conference will provide a forum to discuss and solicit research from both theoretical and policy perspectives to improve corporate governance. The conference will also provide an opportunity to inquire how academic research findings relate to practice in India by having leading practitioners as discussants.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

• A request for registration, in the prescribed form along with the registration fee may be sent to The IIS University on or before 15 Feb 2016.     
• The registration fee is payable either by DD in favour of "The IIS University, Jaipur" or in cash or online. No Cheques or money order will be accepted.

Travel & Accommodation:

• No travel reimburesement will be made by the organizers.
• Accommodation for outstation candidates can be booked on request and payment basis.
•  Twin share accommodation on chargeable basis will be provided nearby the institute from two to three nights only.
