National Workshop on “Research Plan & Process”

It's our immense pleasure and privilege to invite you to the  National Workshop on “Research Plan & Process” jointly organized by The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Centre for Research, Innovation and Training (CRIT), The IIS University, Jaipur to be held on 14-15 February, 2015.

Since a research plan presents the proposed research in the most compelling and competitive way, there is need to make researchers understand the skills and requirements for preparing a research plan. The workshop will focus on techniques to be adopted by researchers to help them in framing their research question effectively, discuss the significance of their research for a specific field and for society, and clearly convey their skills as an investigator. Through the workshop, the participants will be able to have a better understanding of the following issues:

•           Role of research plan in the research process

•           Identification of key components of research plan

•          Use of abstract, title, and research aim sections to make crucial concepts

•           Formulation of Research Problem or Research Question

•       Access of e-Journals and Research Based websites
•       Strategy to review literature related to research work
•       Techniques to strengthen each section of research plan
•       Ethics in scientific writing including information about plagiarism
•       Understanding the best ways to identify potential funding sources
