     Summary/Description (max 500 words): 

 1. In compliance to the UGC guidelines Hon’ble Chancellor constituted the Screening Committee on 22^nd December 2020 for the selection of Gender Champions. The Screening Committee has the following members:

      Dr. Smita Purohit              -    Member

      Dr. Deepshikha Parashar     -    Member

      Dr. Monty Kanodia             -    Member

      Dr. Preeti Agrawat              -    Member

      Dr. Mitali Gupta                  -    Member

      Dr. Rajni Gupta                    -    Member

     Ms. Bhoomika Badlani        -    Co-opted Member

     Ms. Saya Mathew                 -   Student Representative

2. On 29^th December 2020 email with an Online application form was circulated to all  the students of the University and interested students were asked to submit it by 12^th January 2021.

3. Screening Committee scrutinized the received applications from the students of the University and shortlisted the candidates for the interview and selection of Gender Champions

4. An email was circulated on 4^th February 2021 for informing the shortlisted candidates about the schedule of the Interview. It was decided to conduct interview on 10^th February 2021on the online platform TEAMS.

5. The Screening Committee met on 10^th February 2021 and selected the following candidates as Gender Champions of the University:

                        2. Archie Jain              -   B.A. (H),  Sem III 

                        3. Shruti Sharma          -   B.B.A. Sem III

                        4. Dona Sharma          -   B.A.(H),   Sem I

                        5. Erica Fernandes      -   B.Sc.(H),  Sem III

                        6. Kanika Bhardwaj    -   B.A. (PC), Sem I

                        7. Deeksha Khandelwal-  B.Sc.(PC), Sem III

                        8. Sanya Badera          -   B.Sc.(H),  Sem I

                        9. Anshika Shrivastava-   B.A.(H),    Sem III

                        10.Nisha Gurung            -   M.B.A. (IB), Sem I

6.  The Hon’ble Chancellor appointed the above selected students as Gender Champion of the University for the period of two years effective from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2022.
