Prof. Sharma has a long experience of educational administration at the level of State Government. He also worked as the Vice-Chancellor of University of Kota. He also has a long teaching experience in Physics at Under- Graduate and Post-Graduate level and in some areas of Computer Science.
Areas of his research interest include theoretical investigation of metals, alloys & glasses, superconductivity , measurement of dielectric properties of solids /liquids and food materials and computational techniques like automatic test generation ,cloud computing and web architecture etc. Prof. Sharma has published several books and large number of research papers in national and international journals.
