| 5 | 08-Oct-16 | The Gender Champion Club organized a session for awareness on sexual harassment. Aprajita, Abhishek and Tanya from Arman team conducted the interactive session 'Decoding Patriarchy'. They started with a video as an icebreaker showing the oppression women are made to go through but then 48% women of the world raise their voice they would break all barriers. This time the students were stunned by it and took quite some time to join the discussion. It was informative session. |

The gender club members and faculty team were astonished at the perspectives and gender construction that are tried and tested in society. The discussion led to understanding the tenacity of cultural control over people which made it difficult to change stereotypes. |
