Continuing to partner with ICG for campus selections, this year too IBM
Global Process Services visited us. Selecting 43 students under the Campus Recruitment Program conducted for the UG and PG final year students on October 18th 2011, IBM has achieved yet another record of being a favorite recruiter. The campus drive was organised by the placement cell for the
college students. Mr. Ketan Bansal Campus Team, Mr.Rethu Pillai and Ms.Meenakshi Khanna Trainer IBM Daksh, were present to conduct the drive in the college. The Drive began at 9:45am in the Srijan Hall, where approximately 100 students were present during the pre-placement talk. The Placement Officer welcomed the recruitment team and floral greetings were presented by the Head P.G.Council, Ms.Chetna Lakhotia. The Pre-placement talk was given by Mr.Pillai. In his talk he addressed the students on IBM and its business. He also shared about the work culture, the growth pattern and various other growth prospects in IBM. He also explained the opportunities for higher studies for IBMers. During the preplacement session the students enquired about various matters for eg: the job locations, training, working in international locations, pay packages etc.
After the Talk, the students participated in the Selection process Round one, which was an introduction round.
The students were divided into groups to facilitate the introduction round. The introduction round was taken by Mr.Bansal and Mr.Pillai. At the end of the introduction round the shortlisted candidates were then sent
for an interview with the Trainer Ms.Arora. After the interview with the trainer, the short listed students appeared for a written test.
At the end of the three rounds, IBM raised offers to 43 students who cleared the written test. The drive concluded at 5:30 in the evening. Placement Officer congratulated all the 43 students on the selection and
conveyed thanks to the IBM Campus Team for visiting ICG for recruitments year after year and strengthening the bond between ICG and IBM. ICG congratulates all the selected students of IBM Global Process Services.
