Bandhan 2017

Bandhan is the alumnae association which was formed since the time when the first batch of the then International College for Girls passed out from the college. The university remains communicated with the students through social networking with its title hand named Bandhan.

The occasion was The IIS University’s Alumnae Meet’17 was organized on 23rd December’17. The day marked a glorious afternoon for the IIS family when all the alumnae students were thrilled to be back on the campus again. The meet was organized in The IIS University lawn, to celebrate, to refreshingly renew old friendships and relationships and also to form new ones with new hopes- an occasion on which our alumnae congregated and made it go down the memory lane. The program began with a welcome note by Dr. Ashok Gupta, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the university. This was followed by a musical performance by the faculty members to welcome the alumnae to their very own alma mater. Further lined up were few activities which were organized for the students, games like treasure hunt and some other to participate in. The icing on cake was a song by Dr. Ashok Gupta in his inimitable style of rendition. He brought back the happy reminiscences of the good old day making the alumnae’s eyes go wet.

It was an event where the old students willingly spared time out of their busy schedules and came over, and the experience they took home from the evening was worth the time they all invested. Our students are widely spread throughout the globe, and their bit of doing is sure making a difference to the world. Many of them hold key positions of major influences in the society which, in itself, speaks volumes for the institution.
