Bandhan- The Alumnae Association

Bandhan- The Alumnae Association ofIIS(deemed to be University) is a platform where the students of the University can stay in touch with their Alma mater. It was formed since the time when the first batch of the then International College for Girls passed out from the college. The university remains communicated with the students through social networking with its title hand named Bandhan. The Alumnae Association seeks to reach, serve and engage all its alumni and students; to foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional connection between the Institute and its graduates; and to provide the Institute with goodwill and support.

The associationhosts gettogether and meetings all through the year. A meeting of the executive committee of the Alumnae association was held on 21st August 2018 to discuss and device ways to foster and strengthen the association. The meeting was attended by alumnae of the university. They discussed about the activities that can be organized for the alumna and also the ways to update the alumnae directory. Furthermore, during the Convocation held in December’18.the alumnae of the University were made to update their personal details in the proforma circulated. In March’2018, a few alumnae of the University participated in the Annual function ”Virasat 2019”. Some of the Alumnae were also invited to judge events during the fest Cosmos and Vivdha held in January’19 like Ms. Neha Jain, DrGincy Varghese, Ms. Shivani Sharma, MsJyoti Singh Chauhan and MsManika Sharma.

The annual get together of the alumnae association is the upcoming event which will be organized in 2019.
