Fashion & Textiles Guild Committee had organized a guild activity on the best out of waste for the students of guild, in which 25 students participated. The resource person for the same was Ms. Shallu Asnani , Freelance Designer. The demonstration focused on making the photo frames, accessories boxes and decorative multipurpose boxes etc by using the dry fruits, sweet boxes and using leftover fabric. The ultimate aim of this activity was to create a platform to exhibit their creativity and use waste material such as old baskets, newspaper, bottles, wires, fabric piece, broken cups, empty boxes etc. into useful and decorative items. The students participated sincerely in the fun-filled activity and came up with amazing ideas. The concept was completely innovative and creative in the field of art. It was a great exposure for the students as the method taught was easy by which they can make use of the skill and can also make useful items at home.
