Objective of the Event: The primary objective of the film screening on gender equality, held on November 29, 2024, was to raise awareness and provoke meaningful discussions about the ongoing challenges and solutions surrounding gender inequality.
Summary: The Department of Sociology and Social Work in collaboration with Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) organized a Film Screening on the topic ‘GENDER EQUALITY’. The film screening was aimed to raise awareness and spark discussions about key gender issues. The event featured a selection of a film named- BHED-BHAV highlighting topics like gender stereotypes, the gender pay gap, and gender-based violence. It was followed by a panel discussion with experts and activists, fostering dialogue and empowering attendees to take action for gender equality.
