NOTICE REGARDING SPECIAL EXAMINATION FOR STUDENTS OF SEMESTER IV (P.G. FINAL YEAR), VI (U.G. FINAL YEAR) & VIII (B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed./B.F.A. FINAL YEAR)

 

This is to inform all students of Final Year that the university is organizing a Special Examination for all those IV (P.G. Final Year), VI (Final Year) and VIII (B.F.A../B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed.) Semester (U.G.) students who have not been able to clear their paper(s) of Semesters I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII (B.F.A../B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed.) & VIII (B.F.A../B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed.) of previous examinations.

 

The Examination will tentatively commence from July 10, 2023, the schedule of which will be displayed shortly on the Notice Boards of the university and also on the University Website (www.iisuniv.ac.in).

 

SYLLABUS AND PAPER PATTERN

 

 

The Examination shall be conducted as per the following pattern:

 

The theory exams of Odd and Even semesters will be conducted out of FOUR UNITS. The units shall be the same as those given in even semester exams of April-May 2023. For units to be included in Odd Semester; students are advised to lookup their departmental website.

 

The pattern of Semester End Examination shall be as follows:

 

Section A shall consist of 8 compulsory objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions/Fill in the Blanks/One word answer/True or False/Match the following etc) carrying mark each.      (8 × 1½ = 12)

Section B shall consist of 4 short answer questions/Numerical problems carrying marks each. Candidates are required to attempt all the 4 questions in 150-200 words observing the internal choice.           (4 × 5½ = 22)

Section C shall consist of 4 Eassy Type Questions carrying 12 marks each. Students are required to attempt any 3 questions in 600-700 words each.                                                                                                (3 × 12 = 36)

 

For MBA Students the pattern of Semester End Examination shall be as follows:

 

Note: The question paper consists of four sections:

Section A shall consist of 8 compulsory objective type questions (Multiple choice questions/Fill in the Blanks/One word answer/True or False/Match the items) carrying 1 mark each.                    (8 X 1 = 8 marks)

Section B shall consist of 4 conceptual/ Short Application Based Questions with internal choice from each unit carrying 5 mark each.                                                                                                            (4 X 5 = 20 marks)

Section C shall consist of 3 long essay type question of 11 marks each. Candidates are required to attempt any TWO questions.                                                                                                                    (2 X 11 = 22 marks)

Section D shall consist of one compulsory Case Study/Application based questions carrying 20 Marks.

                                                                                                                                               (20 X 1 = 20 marks)

 

In case of any query, the students are advised to contact the Head of the Department/Subject Teacher. There shall be no change in the pattern of CA Test and Practical Examination which will be conducted as per the previous pattern.

 

 The CA test pattern shall be as follows:

 

CA Test paper consists of two sections:

  • Section A shall consist of 4 compulsory questions (2 from each unit) of 2 marks each, to be answered in 50-75 words.
  • Section B shall consist of one essay type question with internal choice. Candidates are required to attempt the question in 500-700 words observing the internal choice

 

 

FORM FILLING & SUBMISSION

 

 

The Examination Forms for the Special Examination are available ONLINE on https://www.icfia.org/iisu/examinationform.

 

1)   The procedure for filling the Examination Form is given below        

  1. Students are required to open the website https://www.icfia.org/iisu/examinationform
  2. They should enter their University Admission No./ICG Enrolment Number along with their university e-mail id.
  3. After filling the relevant entries, they should click on “Verify”; after which the students will be able to see their examination form

2)   Students are required to thoroughly check the details of their due papers. In Case of any Omission/correction/query, they are required to contact Dr. Nisha Yadav, Controller of Examinations in the examination cell on 0141-2400747 or mail at examination@iisuniv.ac.in.

3)   It is strongly suggested that the parents/ guardians of the students should also check the forms thoroughly before submitting the same. It will be assumed that the forms have been submitted with the consent of the parents/ guardians of the students

4)    Once all the details given in the form are verified and found correct, students are required to check the “I Agree” box and press “Pay “button.

5)   Students will be redirected to payment gateway:

i)    The Examination fee for Due papers is Rs. 500/- (per paper) for UG programmes and Rs. 600/- (per paper) for PG programmes

ii)   The fee for Due paper(s) will be reflected just below the examination form once the student presses the ‘Verify’ button. Students are required to verify the total amount payable towards examination fee for Due Papers

iii) Students are required to press ‘PAY’ to continue once the amount is verified. This will redirect them to the Payment Gateway for online payment of fee through Credit/ Debit Cards or Netbanking. Once the payment is successful, students should stay on their screens till they receive ‘Successful Payment’ receipt on their screen. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT PRESS ‘REFRESH’ OR ‘BACK’ BUTTON UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. IF THEY DO SO, THEIR STATUS OF FORM WILL REMAIN “NOT SUBMITTED” EVEN IF THE PAYMENT IS SUCCESSFUL AND THE MONEY WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THEIR ACCOUNT.

NOTE: The maximum amount to be collected for the due papers will not exceed        Rs. 8000/-          

6)    In case of problems related to payment, students may send an email at iisuniversity@iisuniv.ac.in or contact Mr. Mukesh Agarwal in the University office on 0141-2400160/ 2400161

 

FOR EX STUDENTS

 

        Students who were enrolled before 2020 should visit the Examination Cell of the University personally to fill the Examination Form.

7)  The last date for submitting the Examination forms is July 4, 2023.
