Notice Regarding CA TEST, MAY 2021

NOTICE

This is for the information of the students that the regular CA tests (Theory & Practical) of the even semester will commence on 17 May 2021 and will be conducted online as follows:

1. The subject teacher/faculty will take the CA test in Google form or Microsoft teams.

2. The faculty will send a link for the Google form/ Microsoft teams to the students at the time of the test.

3. The question paper will be set from the first two units that have been taught. The students will also be intimated about the two units that will be included in the CA test by the subject teacher.

The pattern of the paper will be as follows.

• Section A will consist of 5 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each ( 1 mark x 5 =5 marks)

• Section B will consist of 5 short answer type questions with word limit of 50 – 70 marks carrying 2 marks each. ( 2 marks x 5 =10 marks)

4. The CA Practical component (for laboratory based practicals) of all classes shall be based on the following pattern: CA Test Viva Voce Assignment 15 marks 10 marks 05 marks The breakup of the CA test will be as follows: MCQs ( 10 MCQs carrying 1 mark each) Short answer questions ( 5 short answer questions carrying 1 mark each) 10 marks 05 marks The CA test for non laboratory subjects (Dissertation/Seminar/ Synopsis/ Field report/Project work) will be based on the following pattern: Report Presentation Viva voce 10 marks 10 marks 10 marks

5. The duration of the CA test will be 45 minutes.

6. The CA tests will be scheduled during the regular classes.

7. The student may type the answer in Google form/Microsoft Teams or write the answer on a paper and upload the same with the help of PDF Scanner.

8. The time table for the CA test will be uploaded on the website and the subject teacher will inform the students about the dates of the CA tests.

9. The due CA test papers of the previous even semesters will be conducted with the regular CA tests.
