REPORT ON HOME MANAGEMENT GUILD ACTIVITY

HEALTHY SNACKS

A Demonstration was organized on  healthy snacks as a part of Home Management Guild activity by department of Home Science on 12^th march , 2018.  This activity was opened for all the students of  Department of Home Science and around forty five  students eagerly participated in it. The activity started with the welcome speech which included a brief introduction of chef Mr. Abhishek Sharma , an entrepreneur who is running chain of restaurants  different cities around the country like Delhi , Jaipur, Varanasi to name a few.  He is an expert in making  Indian ,Chinese Mexican dishes, pure desserts, soufflés, mousses, muffins, brownies, sponge cakes and puddings etc.

Dr. Nalini Totuka presented bouquet of flowers to the Guest and Miss Ruchika Gehlot gave a brief introduction about him. Later, he  began the activity with an elaborate explanation of the four recipes namely slimming nector (beverage), falafel in pita pocket, paneer kurkure and chocolate mud pot.  All the prepared recipes were very delicious and the activity was found to be very fruitful for the students as well as the staff.

Lastly, the decorated cakes looked very appealing and were also very delicious in taste. Finally the bakery workshop was very interesting, knowledgeable and fruitful for the students as well as the faculty members
