DBT sponsored National Workshop on Foldscope & Symposium on Applied Biotechnology

Foldscope is an ultra-affordable paper microscope inspired by origami. It is a powerful optical scientific tool; especially where larger, expensive instruments are impractical due to cost, size, complexity and availability to the community. DBT, Government of India in partnership with Foldscope Instruments Inc. and Prakash Lab (Stanford), initiated the use of foldscope to trigger excitement and curiosity in science.
