A 13-member student group from Pennsylvania State University, USA, would be visiting The IIS University, Jaipur (from 25 July - 2 August 2013), as part of an agreement between the two institutions for purposes of academic and cultural exchange for mutual understanding and benefit of students from the two countries. The group’s stay on campus would comprise student-sessions on a variety of topics for discussion such as society, culture & youth, jobs v/s careers, social networking technologies and attending classes as per the group members’ chosen area of study. In addition, there would be sight-seeing and home-visits. There would be also be faculty presentations on gender and women’s issues, migration and urban development, community service and historical preservation – all in the context of Rajasthan, to enable the foreign students to gain a deep insight of the state.
The Notice and Application/Undertaking Forms have been emailed to the individual student University email account of all UG and PG Semesters - 3, 5 and 7 students who are in their Second, Third and Fourth year, respectively.
