Workshop on “Creating Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & IP Management”

NOTICE

A workshop on IPR is being organized by the IP Management Cell, IISU Institution’s Innovation Council, CII-YI Yuva Club of this University in collaboration with CII for all the students of IIS University.

This workshop has been sponsored by the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, under one of its flagship programmes, to foster innovation, create jobs and facilitate investment in the State.

The following topics will be covered in the aforesaid workshop

1.    Competitive and Economic Advantages of Owning Intellectual Property Rights

2.    Legal Requirements and filing Procedures for Patent Protection in India

3.    Importance of Designs and Trademarks for Business Entities

4.    Broad Perspective of Copyrights and Its Economic Importance

5.    GI and its Importance.

Interested students/research scholars are required to register themselves at the University Reception. As the seats are limited, the registrations are based on first come first serve basis. The participants will be given a Participation Certificate.
