IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur, is one of the partner Universities in the Erasmus+ funded “Tuning India Project”. The duration of the project was three years starting from 2017 and finishing in 2020, which has been extended till October 2021 due to outbreak of the pandemic in 2020.The Project Consortium consists of the following 15 Indian Universities and 5 European Universities-

The project aims to contribute to and support the internationalization process in India through building of a framework of comparable, compatible and transparent degree programmes.
The project is aimed to achieve the following specific objectives:
• To apply the Tuning methodology in Indian universities in four subject areas – Law, ICT, Medicine and Teacher Education.
• To develop Tuning Meta-Profiles in four subject areas.
• To develop, implement, monitor and improve degree programmes.
• To promote sub regional and international cooperation between India and EU universities.
The University would receive funding of € 18,743 for this project.
IIS (Deemed to be University) is represented in the Project by Dr. Raakhi Gupta as the coordinator and Dr. Sanjay Kedia, Dr Archana Jain from the in the Education subject area. The IIS University also got the opportunity to host the third general meeting of the project at Jaipur.
The dissemination activities are being organized further to equip the faculty members with the learnings of the project.
