Women Entrepreneurship: Pathways to Empowerment

Jaipur, 28^th, October 2021: The Center for Women’s Studies and Department of Home Science, IIS (deemed to be university), organized a guest lecture on the topic of Women Entrepreneurship: Pathways to Empowerment on Thursday, 28^th October, 2021. The guest speaker wasMiss Aditi Atre, MBA in Marketing, IMT Nagpur, and a proud owner of RajasthaniRangrez. Ms. Atre is also an alumna of IIS (deemed to be University).

Miss Atre, commenced the session by sharing the journey of her transformation from a 9 to 5 job toa successful entrepreneur. She informed the students how she came across the idea to start her own enterprise. She inspired the students by telling them how she overcame the roadblocks in her journey and how she was able to break the patriarchy through her self-esteem, hard work and positive nature.

Miss Atre encouraged the studentsby quoting “give wingsto your dream” and gave some key pointers on how one can succeed in life by being an entrepreneur. She informed the students about the companies giving chance to young entrepreneurs by financially supporting them. She wind up her speech by quoting “jump through the waters”.

 At the end of the session, Miss Aditi Atre was felicitated by presenting a painting by Dr. NaliniTotuka. The session was concluded with a vote of thanks.
