Recruitment of Research position under DST-Rajasthan sponsored research project(s)

Applications are invited for the position of two Junior Research Fellows (JRF) to work in the Department of Science & Technology – Rajasthan (DST-R) sponsored research projects.

Qualifications: National Eligibility Test-CSIR UGC NET including lectureship and GATE qualified candidates with M.Sc. in basic Life science/ MS/ M. Pharma with minimum 55% in the last qualifying degree.

Or

Candidates qualifying National level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, ICMR, IISER, IIT, IISc., etc.

The age limit is as per the criteria of University Grant commission guidelines for JRF

Desirable qualifications for Project I- Basic knowledge of animal handling (Rodent model), Neuroscience and Bioinformatics will be preferred.

Fellowship: As per recommendation of DST-Rajasthan

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – for 2 years Rs. 25,000/- per month.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – for 1 year Rs. 28,000/- per month

Candidates may also note the following points:

1. Selection committee of IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates.

2. Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit and experience of the available candidates.

Decision of selection committee will be final. The date and time of interview will be informed by email only.

3. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates called for the interview.

4. The selected candidates can opt for Ph.D. program announced by IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur (twice a year) in case they are interested in pursuing Ph.D. as per provision in the above research area after fulfilling the required criteria as per institute rules.
