Notice Regarding Online Semester Examination

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The following has been observed during the conduct of online exams:

  1. Students are not entering complete/correct e mail ids while logging in.
  2. The enrollment number is also sometimes entered wrongly.
  3. Students have not added admin@mettl.com to their contacts as a result of which the mails which have the link go to their spam folder sometimes.
  4. Students are not clicking the spam folder for link.
  5. Students are not taking exam in an isolated room.
  6. Students are talking on another device while taking the exam.
  7. Students are logging in very late for the exam causing incoveninence.
  8. Students are constantly logging in and out during the exam.

 

Please Note:

  1. Students should keep their university ID Card/Admit Card with them while logging in the test link to avoid errors and panic, subsequently.
  2. The following email address should be added to their contact list – ‘admin@mettl.com’. This will prevent the mail from going to spam folder and will be seen in their inbox.
  3. The test link will be received by students a day before the exam by evening.
  4. Students should ensure that no one is present in the room where they are taking the exam. They should also not communicate with anyone in person or on telephone while taking the exam. If any such objectionable activity is seen by proctors during the exam, they will reserve the right to FORCE STOP their exam. A case of unfair means may also be registered against them on the basis of images   captured through remote proctoring.
  1. If any student logs in late for the exam on purpose, the time allowed to take the exam will remain the same for them i.e. 2 hrs. 15 minutes for non mathtematical papers and 2 hrs. 30 minutes for mathematical papers. After the scheduled time, the exam will automatically revoke. They will not be given any extra time to complete the exam.

 

  1. If a students logs in and out more than once, the examination link of the student will be revoked and she will not be allowed to take the exam further.

 

  1. In case there is any network issue, the exam may pause for sometime but will resume automatically after 7-8 minutes. Students should wait patiently during this duration and should not press too many keys. They should ensure that they take their exam from the place with strong internet connectivity in their house.
