The program, held from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon, saw the active participation of 22 students under faculty guidance. The activity included a cleaning drive where students cleaned village streets, school surroundings, and public spaces using brooms, gloves, and waste collection bags, demonstrating the importance of maintaining a clean environment and encouraging some villagers to join the effort. This was followed by a Swachhata Awareness Rally in which students carried banners and placards with slogans, motivating villagers to adopt proper hygiene practices such as avoiding littering, using toilets, and managing waste responsibly. Children and youth from the village also participated, and the event left a positive impression by combining hands-on cleaning efforts with awareness generation.

Outcomes of the Event:

The event led to increased awareness among villagers about cleanliness, sanitation, and proper waste management. Students gained hands-on experience in community service and environmental care, while the rally and cleaning drive encouraged active participation from villagers, particularly the youth, in maintaining local cleanliness. Additionally, the initiative helped strengthen the university’s connection with the local community through meaningful social outreach.
