Kamla Bhasin with IIS faculty IIS students engrossed in the session
It was indeed a privilege to take students to attend a session specially one which she was doing for young adolescent girls mostly from underprivileged background.
She slowly steered the girls through honestly interacting session by sharing personal experience for understanding gendered knowledge making constantly bringing Constitution of India. Even though the session was for adolescent school girls, it was enriching for University girls and faculty, as Kamla Bhasin is candid in her sharing and she goes beyond books to bring out the nuances of gender constructions of society.
