Workshop on “Technical Aspects of Recording”

Basically the workshop was based on the different types of Recording. Such as,
- Acoustic Recordings
- Electronic Recordings
- In the Box Recordings
It was a Theoretical cum practical workshop in which students were taken to the FM Radio Recording Studio wherein, they were given practical training about the technical know-how’s of Recording a song.
Outcome
- The students came up with various ideas to improve the quality of cultural programmes held throughout the year.
- They interacted amongst themselves and sought guidance from supervisors, co-ordinators and learned through this interaction.
- They saw their ideas being implemented and stages of improvisation in performances.
- They became more conscious of their natural inclination for music and began enjoying their own initiatives.
- Ready guidance by experts motivated them to improve upon weaknesses and practice more in their respective areas of strength.
