A workshop of Folk Music was Conducted by the Cultural Guild on March 05, 2018. The Resource person was Mr. Jinu George, a renowned Musician. Basically the workshop was aimed to give students the basic and conceptual knowledge about the Rajsthani Folk Music including the texture, ascent , pitch control and other technical aspects.

The second agenda of the workshop was the selection of students on the above mentioned parameters to make them practiced and learned for the Annual Function, 2018. As the theme of the Music Performance in the Annual Day was Rajasthani Folk Music.

Around 35 students participated in this workshop.
