Convocation 2016
The fourth convocation of the University is scheduled on 16January 2016 at ICG Lawns, ICG Campus, GurukulMarg, Mansarovar, Jaipur from 10:30 am onwards, wherein the degrees will be conferred on the graduands and University gold medals will be awarded to the toppers of various programmes. Endowment awards/gold medals will be awarded to students excelling in specific areas, subject to their fulfilling all the prerequisites for such awards.
Dr. Subramanian Swamy will deliver the Convocation Address.

Dr. Subramanian Swamy is a versatile personality who dons many hats with aplomb. He is an academician, economist and a politician with almost a clinical knowledge of legal and bureaucratic procedures. An alumnus of Hindu College, University of Delhi and Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, Dr. Swamy went to Harvard University, on a full Rockefeller Scholarship, where he received a Ph.D. in Economics. His thesis adviser was Nobel LaureateSimon Kuznets. Dr. Swamy has had an illustrious academic career which includes prestigious teaching assignments as Associate Professor in Economics at Harvard and Full Professor in Mathematical Economics at IIT Delhi. Dr.Swamy is a published author of several books, research papers and journals. He has written on foreign affairs of India dealing largely with China, Pakistan and Israel. |
